BMW F 450 R Unveiled With 48hp Engine, S 1000 R-Inspired Design And More

BMW Motorrad has taken the wraps off the new F 450 R, adding a road-focused naked bike to its F 450 family. It gets a 420cc parallel-twin engine producing 48hp, weighs 175kg ready to ride and carries styling cues from the S 1000 R. The motorcycle also gets a 6.5-inch TFT display, three riding modes and a set of electronic safety systems. BMW has developed the F 450 R around a tubular steel frame, 43mm upside-down fork and 17-inch wheels. There are four versions to choose from, with equipment varying between the Base, Exclusive and M Sport models. The company has not announced India pricing or an India launch timeline yet.
