Before the men’s team, the women’s trio of Jyothi Surekha Vennam, Prithika Pradeep and Chikita Thaniparthi defeated China in the women’s final. Then the pair of mixed team of Chikitha Taniparthi and Sahil Jadhav beat South Korea in a thrilling shoot-off to bag the second gold of the day in Archery. India’s other gold came in mixed trap, where Kynan Chenai and Neeru Dhanda helped India defeat China to finish first. The four golds increased India’s tally to 58 medals, including 10 golds, 21 silver and 27 bronze medals.
