Thackeray backed the call, saying, “If Gyanesh doesn’t go, Mumbai will step out against Vote Chori from 2nd October, in huge numbers!!” Responding to Thackeray, Dipke thanked him for extending support to the call and urged Indians across political parties and ideologies to come together against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
