During Friday’s hearing, the MCD said the Satya Niketan collapse was taken up at the highest level of the civic body immediately after the incident. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, appearing for the Delhi government, MCD and Delhi Police, told the court that five MCD officers across the supervisory chain, including a deputy commissioner, had been suspended.
