The court is set! The stakes could not be higher as Bhubaneswar hosts the Odisha State Selection Trials on September 26-27 at Mother’s Public School. Serving as part of the Road to IPA Nationals 2026, the event is organised by the Odisha Pickleball Association in partnership with the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA). The trials will see top paddlers from the state battle for selection across categories.
Opening day action in Bhubaneswar
The opening day will have a double-session lineup, focused on endurance and tactical precision. Morning action will kick off with U-14/16 Boys Singles and U-18 Boys Singles categories. Meanwhile, veteran players will battle in Men’s Singles 30+ and Men’s Singles 60+.
In the evening, doubles and senior categories will take place. There will also be Mixed Doubles categories.
Day 2 action
Day 2 will begin with age-bracketed standard teams showcasing their talent in Men’s Doubles 30+, Men’s Doubles 40+ and Men’s Doubles 60+. The Open Women’s Singles will highlight premier female talent. In the afternoon, we will see action in the high-stakes Men’s Doubles semis and finals.
