The institute, via a notice dated September 24, said, “The facility of a scribe would be allowed to candidates who are eligible to use the services of a scribe and have opted for the same in their online application form. The facility of a scribe is meant only for those candidates with disabilities who have physical limitations to write, including that of speed. In all such cases where a scribe is used, the following rules will apply,” the notice stated.
It said that candidates will have to arrange the scribe at his/ her own cost, adding that the scribe could be from any academic stream.
