Amid reports of the exclusion of Rekha Gupta’s name, the Election Commission said that a notice was issued as per ECI procedures, followed by physical field verification by the Booth Level Officer. “After the facts and documents were verified, her entry was validated and included for the Final Electoral Roll, which is scheduled to be published on November 4, 2026,” the poll body said in a press note.
