Indian shooters Anantjeet Singh Naruka and Parinaaz Dhaliwal have created history by taking home bronze in the mixed-team skeet competition at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. With 44 hits, the Indian pair finished third in a fiercely contested final, behind South Korea’s 51 and China’s gold-winning 52. After six series, India was equal with South Korea on 44, but they won the bronze thanks to their third-place qualification ranking. With this accomplishment, India won its first-ever mixed-team skeet medal at the Asian Games. Earlier, Naruka and Dhaliwal secured their spot in the medal round by finishing fourth in qualification with 138 points. Their bronze finish at the 2026 Asian Games adds to India’s increasing number of shooting medals.
