Taking note of the Supreme Court’s suggestions, NBEMS has reduced the minimum qualifying cut-off for NEET SS counselling from the 50th percentile to the 30th percentile. Accordingly, the board has shared the revised outcome for all candidates on its official website: natboard.edu.
Those placed at the 30th percentile or above in their respective NEET-SS 2025 question paper groups have been declared as qualified in NEET-SS 2025.
NEET SS 2025 Qualifying Cut-off [Revised]
The group-specific qualifying cut-off scores are as under:

- Critical Care Medicine Group: 254
- ENT Group: 247
- Medical Group: 175
- Medical Oncology Group: 180
- Microbiology Group: 306
- Obstetrics and Gynaecology Group: 325
- Orthopaedics Group: 256
- Paediatric Group: 231
- Pathology Group: 238
- Pharmacology Group: 213
- Psychiatry Group: 302
- Radiodiagnosis Group: 315
- Respiratory Medicine Group: 285
- Surgical Group: 243
As per the official notification shared by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS professional examinations as provided by the candidate in his/her NEET-SS 2025 application form shall be verified against the original credentials at the time of admission by the counselling or admitting authority.
“Scorecards issued to candidates shall have a mention of the MBBS Aggregate marks as provided by the candidates in their application form wherever such aggregate marks have been used to break the tie of NEET-SS 2025 Rank,” the notice stated.
“In the event it is noted that the information provided in the NEET-SS 2025 application form is incorrect and this criterion has been utilised to resolve the tie of the concerned candidate, his/her candidature for NEET-SS 2025 shall be cancelled,” it added.
Notably, at any stage, if candidates are found to have resorted to the use of any unfair means in the exam, they shall be liable for penal action as deemed appropriate by NBEMS/MCC/Counseling authority.
If any such candidates are declared successful in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test – Super Speciality (NEET SS) 2025, the results or candidature of those concerned shall be cancelled and/or deemed to be cancelled.
