The family of 22-year-old IIT Bombay student Sahil Ravindra Wakode has alleged that caste-based harassment and “mental torture” at the institute may have contributed to his death, even as faculty members rallied in support of Professor Suryanarayana Doolla, who has been booked in connection with the case.
