One of the family members recalled the courage of Shiva Prasad Behera, saying, “In the past, my brother had saved my life when I was drowning in water. But today, he himself became a victim of an accident and drowned to death. I still cannot accept that the same brother who once saved me has now lost his life in the water.” The family said Shiva was an extremely brave person and an excellent swimmer.
