Salman Khan slams mockery of actresses who gained weight during pregnancy
On the Weekend Ka Vaar episode aired on September 19, Salman said, “Kisike failure pe mazak banana, mere saath bhi hua tha. Abhi bhi ho raha hoga – ‘Buddha ho gaya hai’. Of course, 60 saal ka ho gaya; You can’t be Maine Pyar Kiya every time. What do you want to troll? Why do you troll joh pregnant hua hai? Pregnant hone ke baad everyone puts on weight.”
He further slammed people for mocking the actress for gaining weight. Without naming her, Salman said that when she resumes work, she will lose the extra kilos gained during pregnancy.
Katrina Kaif on changed beauty perceptions
Amid the mockery, Katrina revealed in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India how ‘looking your best’ has evolved for her as compared to the initial stages of her career. She said it has changed a lot. Recalling her modelling days, the actress shared that there were many stereotypes about ‘what the beauty standards were’. “Now for me, looking my best is really about feeling my best, and that comes from taking care of myself as a whole,” Kaif said.
She further opened up about her health regimen. “A healthy diet, keeping the inflammation in your body under control, staying active, meditation, a phone-free daily hour of your morning and getting natural light first thing in the morning. It all makes a huge difference to how I feel, and ultimately how my skin behaves. I think when you feel healthy, that confidence naturally reflects on the outside,” she added.
