When a Special Investigation Team enters the newsroom of Reporter TV in the early hours, remains there for an hour and a half, and disrupts a live broadcast, we are no longer talking about a financial probe. We are talking about something else entirely. Reporter TV is one of the prominent Malayalam channels, a channel whose secular credentials are very high, one that has consistently stood for secularism. Its interests, and the freedom it represents, must be protected.
