Following the preliminary investigation, Swaroop Nagar Police Station registered FIR No. 380/2026 under Sections 103(1), 238(a), 65(1) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. Police are investigating the individual roles of the four suspects and are also examining whether anyone else was involved in the crime. Further investigation is underway.
