Meghna further added, “In the early part of my career, my films did not do well, and therefore the next film took longer to happen. It is not easy to get work. That phase was more difficult for my parents than for me because there was no way they could ensure my success and even if there was, I wouldn’t let them. My success has to be mine just like my failure is mine. For me, my film Talvar, the first film that succeeded, it was almost like ‘Thank God, now they will be at ease.’ It was not about I have made it or my audience likes my work. My only reaction was ab tasalli hogi inko.”
