The crash was reported just before 7 PM in the 9100 block of North Mason Avenue in Chatsworth, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD). The helicopter, identified as NewsChopper4, was owned and operated by Angel City Air and was covering a separate deadly crash involving a Metro bus in the west San Fernando Valley.
