A struggling Babar Azam has taken a big step to return to form and he has decided to make his return to domestic cricket after seven years. Babar’s international commitments have seen him stay away from domestic cricket for seven years. He became Pakistan’s all-format captain in 2020 and retained the job till 2023. He returned as Pakistan’s T20I captain in 2024. Before the West Indies and England tour, Babar returned as the Test captain and captained the team in four out of five Tests.
