However, a new update suggests that there has been no progress on the CBFC front yet. The film continues to remain stuck, while the makers are reportedly in discussions with government officials to find a way forward. With the clearance still pending and theatrical slots for 2026 limited, Maatrubhumi could potentially be pushed to 2027.
