The Ministry of Civil Aviation has issued a show-cause notice to Air India over ‘violation of Standard Operating Procedure (SoP) for hub and spoke operations’, resulting in 3 foreign nationals departing India without immigration clearance. Reportedly, the 3 Italian nationals, Surjit Singh, Balwinder Kaur and Gurdev Singh, had arrived at the Delhi airport from Amritsar. On September 04, the trio then ended up travelling onward from Delhi to Munich, Germany, without obtaining mandatory departure immigration clearance.
