The 2026 Venice International Film Festival concluded on September 12 with a grand award ceremony. The juries announced the list of winners on the last day of festival and felicitated them with prestigious honours. At the event, Woman Unknown and Wild Horse Nine won big honours at the film festival. Danish filmmaker Mary El-Toukhy’s post-World War II Danish resistance thriller, Woman Unknown, took the Golden Lion, while Mathilde Arcel won the Best Actress prize for the same film.
