Eight people were shot early Sunday morning during a house party in Taunton, Massachusetts, and one of them later died from the injuries. The shooting took place around 12:30 a.m. at a home on Weir Street. The Taunton Police Department said several victims were taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance, while others left the scene on their own to seek treatment elsewhere.
