Under Section 41D of the Maharashtra Public Trusts Act, 1950, the Charity Commissioner has the power, after following the prescribed procedure, to suspend, remove or dismiss a trustee in specified circumstances, including continuous neglect of duty, malfeasance, misfeasance or breach of trust.
