Kia India dispatched 29,042 units in August 2026, up 48.1% from 19,608 units a year earlier, its best-ever August performance since the brand entered India. For buyers watching Kia’s lineup, the growth confirms that the compact SUV duo of Seltos and Sonet remains the company’s real volume driver, even as the newly launched Syros EV adds an early electric contribution. Kia hasn’t broken down exact unit numbers by model, but has confirmed the Seltos alone has averaged over 10,000 monthly sales since its January relaunch. Year-to-date wholesale volumes reached about 2.21 lakh units. This translates to a rise of over 20% from roughly 1.84 lakh units in the same period last year.
