Ola Electric has added a new name to its scooter line-up with the S1Z, priced from Rs 79,999 (ex-showroom). It comes with the company’s Bharat Cell LFP battery technology, while the top 5.1kWh version carries an IDC range claim of 301km. A cheaper 3.1kWh variant is also part of the range, with a claimed 179km range. The new scooter is clearly aimed at a wider set of buyers than Ola’s higher-end offerings, but the headline numbers come with different battery sizes, prices and delivery timelines. The bigger question now is which version makes more sense for everyday use.
