The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced an additional FMGE examination by the end of October 2026, providing eligible candidates with an early opportunity to appear for the exam. The move is among several significant measures announced by the board to make the examination process more transparent and candidate-friendly. Following the announcement, the All India Medical Student Association (AIMSA) and Foreign Medical Student Wing have called off their protest.
