CM Punk has been performing at live events of late and he recently competed at an NXT live event. The main roster champions hardly make NXT appearances and Punk, despite being the Undisputed WWE Champion, performed at a live show of the development brand. The WWE legend has revealed the reason behind it and said that he competed at the event to be in-ring ready. “There is a very selfish motivation to me being here. I want to stay ready. Yes, I’m a champion and wrestle on television, but to me, I don’t wrestle often enough. I need more reps. I think I’m better the more often I wrestle,” Punk said.
