Firefighters are battling fast-moving wildfires in Texas and Nevada as hot, dry and windy conditions make it difficult to contain the blazes. The Ross Fire in North Texas has scorched about 80,000 acres and remains just 12% contained, while the Hawk Fire near Reno, Nevada, has burned more than 15,000 acres and is 85% contained.
