Who is Tanu Sharma?
Tanu Sharma’s journey to the U20 World Wrestling Championships podium began far away from the spotlight, in Bhaklana village of Haryana’s Hansi district. Interestingly, the 20-year-old comes from a family with no wrestling background. Her father, Virendra Shastri, is a Sanskrit teacher at a government school, while her mother, Suman Lata, is a homemaker.
