Nakshathra got the internet’s support after Ravi Teja used the Telugu term muduru munda while speaking to her. People sitting behind him also laughed with him. However, Nakshathra innocently said she did not understand the context and meaning of the word. Ravi Teja then told her that he would explain its meaning later. The word ‘munda’ could have multiple interpretations locally based on the way it is said. Generally, it is a derogatory term for women. Muduru can refer to something mature, aged, intense or, in certain contexts, dark or deep. It can’t be only associated with a person’s skin colour.
