Speaking at a Minority Excellence event, Reddy made bizarre remark about children from minority groups, reducing them to “skilled labourers.” He said, “minority community children are skilled labourers. But ask them to study, they cannot.” Seemingly calling them unable to grasp knowledge and stereotyping an occupation upon them, Reddy added that kids from minorities could “even assemble a Rafale” by seeing and learning, but when they are told to study, they forgot immediately.
