The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the admit card for the Civil Services Mains Exam 2026. Candidates who are eligible and registered to appear for the exam can now check their hall tickets at the official UPSC website, i.e. upsc.gov.in.
This time, the UPSC Civil Services Mains 2026 examination will be conducted from August 21 to August 30, 2026. The tests take place across two sessions daily: the forenoon session from 9 am to 12 pm and the afternoon session from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Candidates should carry printout of admit card, passport size photo and a valid ID proof to the exam hall. In case they fail to carry the same, the candidates will not be allowed to appear in the exam.

Step 1: One should go to the official website upsc.gov.in
Step 2: On homepage, look for What’s New section
Step 3: Click on the link that reads, ‘Hall tickets for UPSC CSE Mains exam’
Step 4: On redirected page, enter your application number and password/date of birth
Step 5: Admit card will appear on screen
Step 6: Go through the same and download it
Step 7: Take its printout for future references
Candidates should check all the details mentioned in the admit cards. If there are spelling mistakes or factual errors, then aspirants should immediately reach out to the Commission and get the details corrected.
What After UPSC CSE Mains?
The Commission typically releases the result around 50 days after the conclusion of exams. The selected candidates will then be called for an interview on separate dates (schedule for which will be released later). Those who clear all rounds and get their documents verified are posted as officers in various departments.
