Speaking on the issue, BJP State President and MLA Rajeev Chandrasekhar said, “I do not think it’s controversy at all. I think this is just the politics of the Indian Union Muslim League coming out, and I want to caution them. I am not being political, or certainly do not want to create an additional controversy, but we have experience in this country how the first 65 years after independence, the history of India was attempted to be rewritten by these leftists and Islamic historians.”
