At the bigger couture showcases this year, checks have also found their way into bridal-adjacent and occasion wear, worked into corsets, jackets and even veils, moving madras out of the “casual shirt” box entirely. Globally, checks in general are having a runway moment, with brands across categories bringing back plaids and windowpane patterns after seasons of minimalism.
