It’s been nearly two years since Sarfaraz lost his place in the team. He’s worked on his body, and looks a lot leaner, if that was the case, but he has struggled to grab the selectors’ attention. To the selectors’ defence, with Rishabh Pant and Dhruv Jurel already in the team, a third wicketkeeper would’ve probably disrupted the balance unless they consider him to play as a pure batter.
