After a cabinet meeting, Education Minister Ashish Sood said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the Delhi Cabinet has approved the Private Universities Bill 2026, paving the way for the setting up of private universities in the capital. It will also outline reforms for governance, academic standards, financial accountability, and quality assurance.
