What Happened
The 84 year old senator was rushed to the hospital on June 14 following a fall, which he later described as coinciding with a “mild case of pneumonia.” In a later update to constituents, McConnell said that although he was briefly knocked unconscious during the incident, he avoided any broken bones and did not suffer a stroke or heart attack.
