Rockstar Games leaves no chance to hype GTA 6 and they’ve done it again by shutting down all the trailer 3 speculations. Rockstar Games announced yesterday that GTA 6 Extended Look will be making a debut on Netflix on August 27 at 3PM ET which corresponds to 12:30 AM as per the Indian Standard Time on August 28. The trailer will be launched on the official YouTube channels of rockstar and its website for free just six hours after the Netflix premiere.
This comes as a shocker for a few fans as they complained on X that locking a game trailer behind Netflix subscription is a new level of greed. Another player criticised the people who have already started buying a Netflix subscription and said, ‘you people are part of the problem.’
What Can We Expect From GTA 6 Extended Look?
First things first, all the GTA enthusiasts who are especially purchasing the Netflix subscription to watch the extended look are saying that it should be a solid gameplay deep dive, not a basic 5- to 8-minute video. Furthermore, expectations are that Rockstar will not keep it light this time, as the franchise has never disappointed with something that it releases.
Some of the previous rumours related to the same suggested that we may get to see a 14- to 18-minutes gameplay video instead of a cinematic trailer, and that sounds justified. Apart from that, we are also expecting to see Rockstar giving us a glimpse of all the mechanisms that are going to be a part of GTA 6, including gunplay, vehicle mechanics, character switching, NPC behaviour, in-game social media, and a lot more.
