The High Court awarded Tejpal 10 years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 5 lakh under Section 376(2)(F) of the Indian Penal Code. It also imposed another sentence of 10 years’ rigorous imprisonment and a Rs 5 lakh fine under Section 376(2)(K). In addition, the court sentenced him to one year of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 under Section 354, one year of rigorous imprisonment under Section 354A, and three years of rigorous imprisonment under Section 354B.
