As Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues to break box office records around the world, director Destin Daniel Cretton has opened up about one of the film’s biggest behind-the-scenes theories. The action sequences in the Marvel blockbuster were not choreographed by Jackie Chan’s famous stunt team, contrary to widespread speculation. The rumour had gained a lot of momentum after comments from Jackie Chan and reports that his long-time stunt team was involved in the production. But now Cretton has clarified that the martial arts legend did arrive on the London set, but the action in the film was choreographed by stunt coordinator Peng Zhang.
