Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the two-match Test series against Sri Lanka. The right-arm pacer suffered a knee injury during the second ODI against England in July and hasn’t recovered from it yet. Bumrah was rested for the complete Afghanistan series after IPL 2026. He wasn’t included in the T20I squad for the Ireland and England series. Bumrah made his return to international cricket in the ODI series and could only play two games. If fit, the senior pacer will play the Asian Games in Japan.
