BSP chief Mayawati on Sunday expelled former Rajya Sabha MP Ashok Siddharth and party coordinator Randhir Singh Beniwal, citing repeated indiscipline and defiance of organisational directives. Announcing the move on X, she noted that Siddharth, the father-in-law of her nephew Akash Anand, had earlier faced expulsion once before, but was allowed to rejoin the party following his assurance that such lapses would not be repeated.
