Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 starts with Rohit Shetty saying he has been a part of the show for 10 years now and this season is the most dangerous. He welcomed fans back to Darr ka capital Cape Town and said season is a mix of old and new contestants. The fun begins with him interacting with old contestants Rubina Dilaik and Avika Gor. Then he meets the seven new contestants. They watch Rubina and Avika perform a stunt on the chopper. Rohit Shetty revealed that the newbies will have to watch and learn, as he will not explain the stunts. The stunt was so long and exhaustive that Rubina fainted and had to get medical care.
Farrhana Bhatt – Gaurav Khanna paired for the first stunt
Gaurav and Farrhana have to do the first stunt. The old Bigg Boss 19 rivals get paired up and GK decides to stay up in the chopper while Farrhana goes down in the water. Farrhana chooses the water part despite being scared of water. She floats on her back after Gaurav unties her and reaches the island house to collect a charger and complete the stunt. She then has to climb up the ladder and give it to Gaurav.
Farrhana screams for him to climb down while GK wants her to climb up. In the end, Gaurav does come down and gets the charger. The explosives go off and they complete the stunt. They start bickering just like BB19 which amuses Rohit Shetty as well as the rest of the contestants. Avika and Rubina end up winning the stunt. After losing, Gaurav has to face his fear of fire as he is quite literally set on fire.
Karan-Rithvik make a comeback
Karan Wahi and Rithvik Dhanjani make a comeback. The two besties are their usual jolly selves till the next task is announced which reminds Wahi of his stunt in the old season. The actor, who is claustrophobic, has to perform against new contestant Avinash. The lamination stunt begins and they start getting sucked into a synthetic bag as air is constantly removed from it. Despite struggling and initially falling behind, Karan Wahi took a lead in the end moments. However, in the end moment, he did not press the buzzer because he was disoriented and Avinash won.
Then, Shagun takes on Rithvik in the same stunt. She immediately starts panicking. Within seconds, the actress aborts the stunt and break down crying as soon as she exits. As a result, Rithvik wins the round. As one new, one old contestant, a tie-breaker takes place.
Ruhanika Dhawan gets special welcome
The youngest contestant Ruhanika Dhawan gets the best welcome as she is pitted against tie-breaker contestant Jasmin Bhasin. While Jasmin assures Rohit Shetty she is not going to cry this season and this is her ‘2.0 baddie’ version, the others do not seem so convinced. Ruhanika then gets a series of special messages. First one is from Tiger Shroff. The next messages are from her Yeh Hai Mohabbatein ‘Papa and Mumma’ Karan Patel and Divyanka Tripathi, who are sure Ruhanika will excel in the show.
The funniest moment comes when Ruhanika’s YHM chachu Aly Goni sends a message supporting her and saying that whoever is against her needs to beware. Coincidentally, it is his girlfriend Jasmin, which makes everyone laugh. During the stunt, Ruhanika exceeds all expectations and wins the stunt. Jasmin is left facing the penalty, which is facing her feat of electrocution.
Morne Morkel’s entry
For the next stunt, India’s bowling coach Morne Morkel arrives. He will bowl as the contestants have to defend, not with a bat but with their bodies. Comedian Harsh Gujral faces him and he completely misses the very fast first ball. He stops the second one and the contest gets interesting. He finally defends 5 balls. Vishal Aditya Singh is the old contestant facing Morkel next. Vishal misses 2 consecutive balls, which makes him lose and as a result, someone from Team Old has to face their fear. It was Rithvik who had to face his fear and cut his beard.
