While this is the first time Preeti has won a CWG medal in her career, she secured a bronze medal in the 2023 Asian Games, which took place in China’s Hangzhou. She also won a gold medal in last year’s World Boxing Cup, which took place in New Delhi. Meanwhile, the 22-year-old secured a gold in the Asian championships earlier this year. She is also part of the Indian Army in the rank of Naib Subedar.
