The countdown to Mirzapur: The Movie has officially begun. After generating massive buzz with its first teaser, the makers are now gearing up to unveil the film’s much-awaited official trailer on August 11, setting the stage for an extensive nationwide promotional campaign. According to sources, the trailer will be launched at a grand event featuring the film’s principal cast. However, the celebrations will not end there. We have exclusively learned that immediately after the trailer launch, the team behind Mirzapur: The Movie will embark on an ambitious multi-city promotional tour across 7–8 cities to connect with fans ahead of the film’s theatrical release.

The campaign is expected to be one of the biggest promotional drives mounted for an Indian franchise film this year.

The recently released teaser confirmed the return of several fan-favourite characters, with Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, and Divyenndu reprising their iconic roles. With the story taking place before later events in the series, Munna returns despite his death in Season 2. The film follows Kaleen Bhaiya as he questions whether Munna is ready to inherit his empire, while the Pandit brothers begin their mission to challenge Munna’s dominance and seize control of Mirzapur.
The ensemble cast also features Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Mohitt Maalik, Sheeba Chadha, Rajesh Tailang, Pramod Pathak, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Shweta Tripathi, and Sonal S. Chauhan.
Mirzapur: The Movie is slated to hit cinemas across India on September 4, 2026, with its official trailer arriving on August 11.
