It started small, or at least it looked that way at first. Right around 3:30 p.m. EDT, complaints began piling up on Downdetector. By the time things settled down, more than 2,000 reports had come in. Claude Code took the brunt of it, accounting for roughly half of all the complaints, but plenty of people also couldn’t log into the regular app or web console.
