The Greater Noida West Metro Corridor has received central approval, moving a significant step closer to realisation. The Public Investment Board (PIB) cleared the project on Wednesday, which spans 8.4 kilometres and connects Noida Sector 51 to Greater Noida West Sector 4. The project, estimated to cost Rs 2,000 crore, is designed to enhance public transport accessibility for over half a million residents who currently rely on congested road transport.
