New Delhi: BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj brought Gen Z slang into the Lok Sabha on Tuesday while defending the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, saying, “If I were to put it in Gen Z language, I’d say: ‘Modi ji clocked it.'” The statement comes amid the government’s growing Gen Z outreach amid the youth protest. PM Modi recently addressed protesters at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi as “friends” in two videos, a term seen largely to address the Gen Z crowd.
