Before her event, Mirabi had said that she wouldn’t give her 100 percent as her focus was on the Asian Games. “I will not give my full effort in the Commonwealth Games. My focus is the Asian Games, which are very near. I am training according to that. So my performance and effort here will depend on that plan,” she told PTI. Her performance was enough to earn India their first gold medal at CWG 2026.
