Pixar has still got it. Their second release of the year, Toy Story 5, after Hoppers, has now grossed over a billion globally at the box office. It joins The Super Mario Galaxy Movie and Michael as the three films to cross that coveted mark this year. Directed by Andrew Stanton, the animated film features the voice talents of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack, who reprise their roles of Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie. The Disney and Pixar film is also the third film in the franchise to cross one billion after Toy Story 4 (2019) and Toy Story 3 (2010).
