After Pradhan’s exit, the biggest question swirling around was: who will replace the Minister? The answer was revealed shortly after, as President Droupadi Murmu accepted Pradhan’s resignation on the advise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and named Pralhad Joshi as the country’s new Education Minister. Joshi, before taking additional charge of the Education ministry, already holds the Consumer Affairs and Renewable Energy portfolios. Pralhad Joshi, an MP from Dharawad, Karnataka, is a 5-time Lok Sabha MP and a former Parliamentary Affairs Minister.
